It is the objective of UEC undertaking Building, Civil Engineering and Design and Build projects to develop a sustainable business that delivers the needs of our clients and stakeholders. This will include a commitment to satisfying all applicable requirements in relation to these works e.g. contractual requirements/ legal requirements/ specifications etc.

UEC seeks to achieve quality by instilling the principle of “Building to Last” in the efforts of all levels of staff.

UEC ensures continual improvement through quality processes which are directed by a strong management team.

To facilitate this objective and to assist with the achievement of our strategic objectives, we have developed and documented a Quality Management System to ensure we consistently meet our client’s expectations and specification requirements and strive to surpass these where practicable.

This Quality Management System has been successfully assessed and registered to the provisions of ISO 9001:2015.

The system incorporates all aspects of UEC activities, including organization, delegation of authority and arrangements to audit both UEC own activities and those of their suppliers and sub-contractors.

In this way, UEC seeks to monitor, analyze, and continually improve both the effectiveness of the quality management system and the activities of the organization as a whole.

All staff charged with managerial responsibility are required to ensure that:

• Work carried out under their control complies with the specification, including work undertaken by sub-contractors.
• Staff under their jurisdiction are familiar with the requirements of the quality system relevant to their work, that they have access to all applicable procedures and that they have read and understood these instructions.
• Staff assigned to individual projects are adequately qualified and experienced in their relevant technical discipline to perform duties in a satisfactory manner.

Senior management shall establish, promote, monitor, and report against quality objectives with a view to improving the overall performance of UEC

These objectives shall be reviewed at each annual review meeting to ensure continuing suitability.
